BIOCOTTON (organic cotton)
The main material from which ODEALTSE blankets are made is bio-cotton because of its qualities, environmental friendliness and excellent tolerance, especially for babies and people prone to allergies and skin irritations. Organic cotton (also called "organic cotton") is among the cleanest fabrics. It is softer to the touch, breathable and hypoallergenic - because it is not treated with toxic chemicals, it does not cause skin irritation and allergic reactions. Pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, soil additives, defoliants and other substances seriously pollute the soil, air and water, reduce biodiversity and change the balance of ecosystems. These chemicals pass into groundwater and even drinking water, with the health of people living in conventional cotton growing areas being particularly endangered. Pesticides are considered to be the main cause of death in birds and bees. Organic cotton, on the other hand, is grown without the use of synthetic agricultural products. That is why bio-cotton products are a better alternative to the standard textiles of conventional cotton and various artificial fabrics, which are widely available on the market.
THREADS WITH NANOSILVER
In the production of ODEALTSE products, nanosilver threads (enriched with silver ions) are also woven, as silver has been proven in medicine with its antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal action. Nanosilver fibers are the most widely used form of nanotechnology in the textile industry, as silver ions and most silver compounds, even in very small quantities, have an oligodynamic effect and destroy pathogenic bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi. Natural and synthetic fibers, combined with silver ions, demonstrate both long-lasting antibacterial abilities on many microorganisms, causing skin irritation, and excellent adhesion of the coating to the fibers and durability in the laundry.
